The nearby village of Saas-Fee is set at 2.500-3.500m and is a well known ski resort in winter. During the summer the melting snow and glacier produce a huge amount of water that makes its way down into the Feevispa River.

This is not the powerful push of a large waterfall – more a delightful splashing and gurgling. You can almost touch the fresh clear water as it hurries on its way down the mountainside.
Waterfalls are a natural source of white noise and are ideal for aiding sleep and masking distracting sounds.
